How Ay Güey Came to Be

Ay Güey started with a simple, stubborn idea: that a mid-sized Carolina town deserved Mexican food this good. It turned out the town agreed.

Omg the food was excellent, I’m from the north east and I wish we had one up north. We had a big party of 12 and the service was very good and the food was served quickly. Everyone enjoyed their dish. My drink was great.

I will definitely be returning... someone kiss the chef‼️ portion sizes are great for your money, I asked Jesus if I could get a pillow after my meal 😅 please come enjoy this place for yourself 100/10

We tried this restaurant for the first time and didn’t really know what to expect and didn’t have high hopes since there hadn’t been a restaurant there for years. To our surprise, it was spectacular! At Güey’s atmosphere was incredible, clean, upbeat, the food was fantastic, the service was great, and the drinks were amazing!!! Great place to take your family, for a date night, or girls night out! Overall a great experience. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t.
